Agricultural Planning Advice

Tender description

Cornwall Council County Farms provide advice on agricultural matters to the Development Management Team from time to time and as requested. Due to a staff member leaving the County Farms there is a need to outsource this work for a period of time to allow a permanent solution to be sought within the team. This will be for a minimum period of 6 months which is likely to be extended. This relates to advice on new build farmhouse or workers dwellings (and temporary dwellings) which will be agriculturally restricted dwellings and the lifting of agricultural ties from dwellings. The expectation is that the consultant will undertake the following work in assessing and reporting on these application as follows: 1. Review the information provided by the development management team. 2. Undertake site visit accompanied by the applicant. 3. Compilation of a short template report on the basis attached. 4. Clarification conversation with the Planning Officer. 5. Appeals are dealt with by an in house team and therefore the work will not include dealing with appeals.
