Tender description

St Michael’s House currently provide a central daily transport service to accommodate approximately 220 people with disabilities to/from day care and various other activities in Dublin. Currently there are circa 35 routes which provide transport to approximately 220 people with disabilities. St Michaels House operate 16 of these routes in-house, with the additional 19 routes operated by third parties. The Contracting Authority wish to establish a single party framework agreement from which it will award contracts to operate the additional 19 routes. The service provider will be required to transport passengers daily to and from day care and to other activities from time to time, as requirements arise. Approximately 75 percent of routes are in North Dublin area with the remainder in south side of the city. The service on each route is required, an average of, 3 hours in the morning for pick-up and 3 hours in the afternoon/evening for drop off, Monday to Friday.
