Tender description

Design and construction of a new Police Station as Crewe Deployment Base with offices; secure property store, ABE suite and parking facilities for staff and operational fleet. Procured under the: Procurement HUB : Major Projects Framework 2. Project has competed feasibility stage - now at Pre Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) Stage. The value of £656740.39 is the value of the initial PCSA. The total value of the contract to include the construction phase is not yet known, but is likely to be around £10m. The PCSA has been varied under contract amendment no 1; revised value £781,134.32. The PCSA has been varied under contract amendment no 2; revised value £840,284.64. The PCSA has been varied under contract amendment no 3; revised value £1,133,671.80. The contractors proposals have been agreed and the requirements are now documented in a JCT 2024 D&B contract. The construction period is 24th November 2025 to 28th January 2027, a 12 month retention period will follow practical completion and a 12 year warranty will also be in place. System dates amended to reflect the contract period. Total construction project cost of £14,025,895.42. (This includes all PCSA related costs)
