Consultancy Services for the development of a Placemaking Plan for Glynneath Town

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (the “Council”) sought to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultancy to prepare a Placemaking Plan for the physical regeneration of Glynneath, with the purpose of creating a sense of place for the town.The Glynneath Placemaking Plan should consider opportunities for development sites, repurposing vacant buildings, improving the environmental credentials of each settlement with potential green infrastructure projects, public realm, improved biodiversity, access to open space, pocket parks and heritage sites.The commission should provide an analysis of Glynneath and develop a Placemaking Plan strategy document with concept/action plans/sketch schemes for key physical improvements within and around Glynneath town that the Client Team will then seek to deliver through a programme of physical regeneration projects.
