Replacement Of Playpark Equipment - Various Portsmouth Sites - AWARD

Portsmouth City Council ('The Council') are seeking quotes from suitably qualified play equipment providers to remove existing play equipment, supply and install replacement play equipment at the following three playgrounds in the Portsmouth area: o Hilsea Lido Playpark (PO3 5LS) PO2 9RP? o Baffin's Playpark (PO3 6PG) o Watersedge Playpark (AKA Portway Playpark) (PO6 4RX) The main purpose is to replace old play units with new, however bidders may optionally also propose to utilize any existing unused space to provide additional equipment within the space to increase the sites' play value, if achievable within the maximum budget for that site. Suppliers may submit bids for one or more of each of the sites listed. Each supplier may submit up to two proposals for each site. The council reserve the right to award each site individually or to award 2 or 3 sites to the same bidder if cost / quality savings are evident in accordance with the evaluation criteria. A site visit is considered essential to evaluate the existing site layout, measure for exact dimensions and to enable submission of an acceptable proposal. All site visits to be completed prior to clarification deadline. The maximum value of the contract for each site is detailed below. The submitted bids MUST NOT exceed the values stated. Any submission exceeding this amount may be set aside. Hilsea Play Area - ?50k Baffin's Play Area - ?40k Watersedge (AKA Portway) Play area - ?30k The Council is targeting to have awarded the contract by 23rd September 2024 to allow for commencement from 1st October 2024 and completion no later than 31st December 2024. Works to be completed within 4 weeks from the start of installing site security. Works to be completed in accordance with the dates detailed within the procurement schedule below.
