Tender description

Assess the current location and condition of the Councils depots and identified bus operator depots to determine whether they are: - In the most optimal locations for the current operation. - Able to meet any future operational aspirations. - Fit for purpose and can be developed in their current locations and configuration. Capable of supporting the transition to sustainable fuels at these locations. - Able to meet the council’s wider sustainability and carbon reduction objectives. ? Assess the Councils Car Park sites to determine whether they are: - Delivering revenue at an acceptable level to meet the Councils business plan. - Able to diversify to generate more revenue for the Council - Required for car parking or could be repurposed to provide more revenue for the Council or to be sold. ? Consider potential opportunities where the Council could: - Co-locate some of its depot facilities with other organisations. - Develop agreements with other organisations to share refuelling facilities. - Allow access to its depot facilities for other organisations to generate revenue.
