Conwy Church Hall Renovation

The Bro Celynnin Ministry Area has been awarded a grant from the Conwy County Borough Council Community Regeneration Key Fund, one of the key funds of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, to renovate the Conwy Church Hall and to modify it for diverse community use.The Hall, which is not listed, occupies a prominent position in the middle of Conwy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Hall is well used, both by the church congregation and by many community groups, for a range of activities. There is now a need to update, modify, renovate and redecorate the interior and exterior of the building, so that it may continue to serve the wider community of Conwy.Issues to be addressed include, but are not limited to, the following:Repairs to the roof,Removal of the existing kitchen and replacement with a new kitchen,Renovation of toilets,Installation of a new heating system,Replacement of some windows and refurbishment of others,Redecoration internally and externally.
