Proposed reinstatement of existing allotment plots – Phase 1 Preliminary Site Investigation and Soil Testing to BS 3882

Tender description

The Council is proposing to undertake works to reinstate a number of overgrown allotment plots at four sites across the Bradford district. We require a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant to visit each site to undertake a Phase 1 Preliminary Site Investigation to establish a detailed understanding of the environmental setting of each site and any potential contamination issues that may be present. In addition, the Consultant will ascertain, through the use of a UKAS accredited laboratory, that the existing topsoil from those areas affected by the proposed works complies with BS 3882 and is satisfactory for re-use within each of the allotment plots and adjacent soft landscape areas at each site.
