Hairmyres Park and Ride

Tender description

The Councils Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services, in cooperation with Network Rail and Transport Scotland intend to construct a new car park adjacent to the new location of Hairmyres railway station in East Kilbride. The works consist of 2 elements, the south car park, south of the railway lines and the north car park, on the north side of the railway line. Lot 1: In order to secure best value for the Council, the Council's Procurement Service identified the most effective route to market as an open tender. A Contract Notice was issued via Public Contracts Scotland on 8 May 2024. Tenders were invited on a Price/Quality basis. The following weightings were used to determine the most economically advantageous tender:- Quality (Technical): 30% Price (Commercial): 70% The successful bidder was the one which achieved the highest combined price/quality score.
