Decontamination Service Agreement

This is not a call for competition and is for market engagement and information only. The Sheffield Authority (Trusts), comprising Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (STH), Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust (SCH), and Sheffield NHS Community Services (Community), is evaluating various options for the provision of Managed Decontamination Services to the Trusts. Currently, the Trusts are contracted with a managed service provider that delivers these services including collection and re delivery from their own premises to sites. This arrangement was established through a previous OJEU tender process, and the existing contract is set to expire in 2027. As the Trusts develop their procurement strategy for the upcoming contract, with the aim of establishing a multi-year contract that delivers optimal value, we are seeking market input on potential options under consideration.
