Tender description

The key purpose of this service is to capture National Highways' response to the Future of Freight Strategy from DfT. Understand and capture the variety of activity that already exists and where additional work proposes future aspirations and opportunities, for these to be set out for NH to implement learnings. This would be presented in the form of a 'Freight approach'. As National Highways are streamlining their strategy documents a 'Freight approach' will be developed. This would also include proposals for ensuring that NH can consistently influence performance indicators linked to Transport Focus' Logistics and Coach Managers survey and other measurements to establish a 'Future of Freight' programme of work for National Highways to improve and embed the overall experience of freight sector customers when using the Strategic Road Network (SRN)".
