Renfrewshire Council has appointed a contractor to carry out Replacement Roofs for Tank Rooms at Arkleston, Rashielea & Our Lady of Peace Primary Schools. The works will comprise of; - the erection of an access scaffold around the 4 sides of the tank room. 2 Sides of this scaffold will be built off the existing school roof and suitable spreader plates to be incorporated to ensure the roof is not overloaded. - Protection of internal valves / sensor etc against water damage. - Removal of the existing roof coverings and roof structure - Replacement of existing loadbearing timber stud walls - Replacement of existing roof structure and deck - Partial replacement of Existing Tank Room cladding - New waterproofing to the roof - New wall head protection and alterations to wall upstand Lot 1: This contract was tendered as a direct award under Lot 13 – Multi Trades Works of Renfrewshire Council’s Framework Agreement for Provision of Trade Contractors 2021 to 2025 (“the Framework”). City Gate Construction (Scotland) Limited are ranked 1st (first) on Lot 13 – Multi Trade Works. The Council approached City Gate Construction (Scotland) Limited and are satisfied they have the technical expertise and capacity to meet the Councils specification requirements.
