Tender description

The University has recently been awarded funds by the Office for Students to enhance its testing facilities and intends to purchase a state-of-the-art multiaxial loading machine. This tender document is focused on the supply of such a mechanical testing machine that fulfils the following objectives: • To apply multiaxial loads (axial-torsional) in both quasi-static and dynamic manners. • To measure the mechanical response of a range of materials, inclusive of metals, polymers, and biomaterials, when subject to the above multiaxial loading that is representative of common engineering scenarios.
