Mitcham Bandstand

Tender description

A multidisciplinary team to design and deliver a temporary and reusable bandstand that will be in place across the summer months in the heart of Mitcham Town Centre for the foreseeable future. It will be used as a platform to celebrate local culture, creating a new purpose to visit the town centre. This project is funded with UK Shared Prosperity Fund. In summary, the consultant will be required to work with the council to:? Engage creatively and innovatively with the public to collaborate with Mitcham’s communities to co-design the temporary bandstand.?? Design, fabricate, install and dismantle the temporary and robust bandstand and clearly identify how local people will be involved. Store and reassembly the bandstand for a minimum of the next 3 years with the ability to be operational beyond this. Keywords: bandstand
