Mechanical Works Contract

Tender description

The London Borough of Redbridge ("the Council") are seeking Tenders from suitably experienced and qualified organisations for the maintenance and repair of Mechanical Works for the Council's corporate properties which range from buildings such as offices, schools, children's centres and a small number of depots. Contract delivery will include but will not be limited to planned preventative maintenance and reactive works of the following equipment: Air Conditioning and Air Handling Units, Solar Panels, Commercial Boiler Plant, Building Management Systems, Kitchen Extract Ventilation, Domestic Central Heating, Urinal Flush Controls. Pressurisation Units, Sewage/Surface Water Pumps, TM44 inspections. The Contractor shall be responsible for managing all elements of planning, communication, scheduling, examination and testing, reporting and administration support under the contract to ensure a high-quality service is provided and in accordance with the Specification and the contract. The contract shall be for a period of three years and commence on the 1st April 2025 and shall continue up to and including the 31st March 2028. There is an option to extend for up to a further two years (12 months +12 months) with a total contract term of five years.
