EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OF STREET ENTERTAINMENT IN DECEMBER 2024

Tender description

Gosport Borough Council are organising a series of events in the Lawrence Square area of Gosport High Street on 3 consecutive Saturdays from Saturday 7th December until Saturday 21st December. We would like to hear from you if you are able to provide entertainment/activities between the hours of 10am and 3pm (exact timings to be confirmed depending on what is available). Please note we are looking for activities/performers and not overall event management. The type of acts we are looking for are as below: ? Street Entertainment such as story teller, dancer, cheerleaders etc, novelty characters ? Children’s rides such as merry-go-round or go-karts ? Musician/bands – acoustic preferred or with your own amplification/power (although this may be provided on some occasions). ? Christmas Carole choirs ? Christmas related entertainment ? Photo opportunity boards such as selfie frame cut outs etc Whatever you are offering should be free of charge to the public and this should be taken into account with your pricing. Gosport Borough Council will require Public Liability Insurance and Risk Assessments from all acts. (For information the GBC standard insurance levels is £10 million).
