The Offshore Wind Directorate invites a tender from a suitable contractor to provide recommendations to design effective baseline and post-consent monitoring approaches for marine fish and shellfish species of both conservation and commercial interest in relation to the environmental considerations of offshore wind farms. It is expected that the monitoring recommendations developed could be applicable in multiple cases (not just around offshore wind farms) and put into practice by a variety of end-users, e.g. to inform monitoring approaches should they be required by licence conditions, to support environmental assessments, to inform marine spatial planning exercises, and/or for research purposes etc.All required information is available in the Invitation to Tender Documents.
