1083 - Roller Shutter Door Purchase and Maintenance (MARKET ENGAGEMENT)

Tender description

Essex County Council (the Authority) is issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) as a Request for Information (RFI) to engage with the market and to gather information in order to gain a better understanding of both the capacity and appetite of the market in delivering the proposed services, and to alert the market to a future tender opportunity. Lot 1: Essex County Council have a requirement for the purchase and maintenance of new fast action fabric Roller Shutter Doors as well as the maintenance of its existing steel Roller Shutter Doors across a number of its sites. The maintenance requirement is for the inspection, ongoing maintenance and repair of Roller Shutter Doors, as well as planned servicing and remedial works to ensure that they remain compliant, safe, and operable for the Authority's Waste Service. The Authority wishes to invite interested Suppliers to complete the market engagement questionnaire which can be found at the link below: https://forms.office.com/e/zG90yjuBuu The closing date for this questionnaire is 12pm (midday) on Friday 18th October 2024. It is important to note that this PIN is not a call for competition and as such you will need to express your interest in any future tender opportunity once the contract notice is published in Find a Tender and on Contracts Finder. It should also be noted that this PIN invites individuals and organisations to express an interest in this exercise only, and it is NOT a pre-qualification questionnaire. It is also NOT part of any pre-qualification or selection process. This PIN is intended as an awareness, communication, and information gathering exercise.
