Provision of Services for the Coordination of Tipperary Comhairle na nÓg

Tender description

Comhairle na nÓg are child and youth councils operating in the 34 Local Authority areas of the country. The purpose of Comhairle na nÓg is to give children and young people the opportunity to be involved in and have a voice in the development of local services and policies. Tipperary County Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified individuals / organisations to support the development of Tipperary Comhairle na nÓg as a strong inclusive structure for the participation of young people in local decision making and informing policy, over a two year period – 2021 and 2022 (with the option to extend by one year to end of 2023), subject to funding. Comhairle na nÓg is led at national level by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs under the National Children’s Strategy (2000), with the funding being administered through Pobal. At local level responsibility rests with each Local Authority.
