East of England Cancer Alliance (South) NHS-Galleri Interim Implementation Pilot

Tender description

The Provision of a high quality clinical service based in the community to support the East of England Cancer Alliance (South) to deliver the NHS-Galleri Interim Implementation Pilot. The NHS-Galleri blood test enables early Cancer Detection. NHS England has agreed to purchase 1 million Galleri tests over 2 years that will be offered to asymptomatic participants aged 50-77 years old in Cancer Alliances not involved in the initial NHS Galleri Clinical Trial. Given the East of England Cancer Alliance (South) was not involved in the initial clinical trial, they have been selected to participate in the NHS-Galleri Interim Implementation Pilot by the National Cancer Programme Team. The pilot will cover all Integrated Care Boards within the East of England Cancer Alliance (South) region, which includes Hertfordshire and West Essex, Mid and South Essex and Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes ICBs.
