Tender description

The Middlesbrough Domestic Abuse Strategic Partnership (DASP) has recognised the important role of training in working towards preventing and responding to domestic abuse. Training can improve the multi-agency response for victims and survivors experiencing domestic abuse and impact on the prevention of domestic abuse through raising awareness in local communities. The Middlesbrough DASP aims to prevent domestic abuse and improve effectiveness of response across all organisations and local communities. To do this it has identified a framework incorporating the different training which is required to address the strategic objectives it has identified. The training specification relates to the following objective. To increase the skills, knowledge and capability of adult and children’s social workers and ACT officers to provide effective, timely and appropriate responses to victims and survivors
