Tender description

The International Fund for Ukraine (IFU) is a funding mechanism that uses funding from international partners to procure priority military assistance for Ukraine at pace. This will ensure the continued supply of military support – lethal and non-lethal – to Ukraine through 2024 and beyond. The Fund is administered by the UK on behalf of an Executive Panel, comprising the UK, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Lithuania. Following on from the first two IFU procurement rounds, known as ‘Urgent Bidding Round 1’ (UBR1) and Urgent Bidding Round 2 (UBR2; we have launched Urgent Bidding Round 3 (UBR3) which includes the Maritime and Air Defence Capability Areas. This opportunity notice invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suppliers across the globe for the following Maritime sub-capability areas: • MC1 - Small crewed boats, c.12m -18m • MC2 - Small ultra-agile RHIBs for riverine and boarding operations • MC3 - Maritime ISR UAS Pseudo Strategic ISR UAS for use in maritime and littoral • MC4 - Maritime ISR USV - Loitering Uncrewed Surface Vehicle with Maritime ISR collect. • MC5 - Maritime Loitering munitions • MC6 - Mine Counter Measure Uncrewed Underwater Vehicle capable of detecting underwater mines. Opportunities in the Air Defence Capability Area will be notified under a separate opportunity notice on the Defence Sourcing Portal DSP and details will be advised on the IFU website. Suppliers should not approach the UK MOD for further details on the Air Defence Capability Area at this stage and must wait for the DSP notice to be published. The full scope of UBR3 Requirements is under consideration and may not be limited to the Maritime and Air Defence Capability areas.
