Tender description

The Contracting Authority proposes awarding a Contract for VAN CONVERSION SERVICES to cover vans which will be leased by Bus Eireann over an overall six-year lease period. Bus Eireann has a fleet of seventeen vans on lease which have been fitted out as breakdown assistance vehicles and which are located at the various Bus Eireann Garage facilities throughout Ireland. The lease on the existing vans will expire shortly and Bus Eireann will enter a new three year lease agreement for seventeen new vehicles which will require fitting out as breakdown assistance vehicles. The work will involve removing specialized equipment from the existing fleet and refitting it to the new vans along with the supply and fitting of new wiring, decals, crash test certified flooring etc. The newly fitted out vans will need to be certified as crash tested. Bus Eireann seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced entities who have the facilities necessary and are in a position to carry out this work commencing October 2024.
