Supply, Delivery, Installation, Support and Maintenance of Three Laboratory and Research Force Plates to DCU

Tender description

The supply, installation, training on and on-going technical support for force-plates, capable of measuring forces and moments in all three planes (and the associated point of application of force). The force plates will be used for educational and research purposes. These force-plates are to be located in a new building, which has oversized recesses in the ground (ground floor level) to allow the fitting of any force-plates within reason. The successful tenderer will install the force-plates and make adjustments to the surrounding area (e.g. back-filling spaces around the force-plates) so that the biomechanics laboratory is ready for use. The force plates will be used for analysing a multitude of sports-based and general movements (e.g. running, jumping, golf, walking, sit-to-stand, balance).
