Replacement of Class IV & VII MOT Ramp

The Bradbury 1090 Ramp currently utilised for MOT Testing is unserviceable due to an MOT Incident. It was categorised as non economical for repair. It is needed for testing of Classes IV, V(L) and VII Vehicles in the Council Fleet. Fleet Services undertake testing on behalf of the Council to ensure vehicles are compliant with legislation and law. Internal testing is crucial to supporting Operational Effectiveness and utilisation of vehicles and provide a good working fleet to integral customers. LCC needs to source an approved MOT Ramp through GEA Approved equipment. There is a good selection of commercial providers who provide this, who can also help with drawings and VT01 Assistance which is crucial to gaining authority with the DVSA.
