Parts, Repairs and Servicing for Refuse Collection Vehicles

Tender description

The Council currently operate 36 Dennis Eagle make refuse collection vehicles, each of which include a hydraulic rear bin lift system manufactured by Terberg Matec UK Ltd. These vehicles are currently 5 to 7 years old and all are planned to be replaced as part of the fleet replacement plan over the next 3-5 years This exemption covers repair and maintenance linked to warranty as and when required until end of asset life. Exemption approved due to technical characteristics where no suitable alternative exists. overall value is estimated spend only dependent on requirements and is not guaranteed. Dennis Eagle spend estimated at a maximum £147,500 and Terberg spend estimated at a maximum of £105,000.
