Tender description

Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) in partnership with the new Haverfordwest Castle CIO (the CIO) has been advised by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) of its success at Round 1 (Development Phase) of its bid to secure £2.68m towards the redevelopment of Haverfordwest Castle, entitled ‘Haverfordwest Castle: Pembrokeshire’s Heritage Gateway’.As part of the development phase, which will run from autumn 2024 to August/Sept 2025, the partnership is seeking to appoint a consultancy to create a monitoring and evaluation plan for the above project.The contractor needs to have experience working within community, heritage and tourism sectors and have experience working creatively with communities to engage a wide range of stakeholders in the evaluation process. The contractor needs to have experience of reporting to and working within the latest guidelines of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and should be able to demonstrate best practice within the sector.The maximum budget for this contract is £15,000. If a successful development phase (stage 1) is achieved and the consequent delivery stage 2 application is awarded, this contract can be extended to deliver the monitoring and evaluation plan during the delivery stage (stage 2). The delivery phase has a budget of circa £50,000 associated with it.
