Tender description

Southend-on-Sea City Council is seeking a contract for the continued provision of Fibre circuits that is currently provided by JISC on behalf of the East of England Broadband Network. 2 x 10GB uncontended fibres with: Microsoft ExpressRoute peering, BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) connection to Internet with Internet Service Provider routing. Diverse routing presented at 2 separate Point of Presence Council sites connected to 2 geographically diverse locations. Main link is Southend Civic Centre to London and failover is Tickfield to Chelmsford. DDoS (Dynamic Denial of Service) attack protection. CSIRT (Cyber Security Incident Support Team). Security Standards: Crest Cyber Security Response Accredited. NCSC Incident Response Level 2. Uptime SLA 99.9% availability. Support SLAs include 8 hour Resolution time. Account Management meetings. Provision of Service Monitoring Dashboard that Shows throughput and any issues on the fibres.
