NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (hereafter referred to as “the Authority”) invites suitably qualified providers to attend a virtual Market Engagement event for the provision Integrated Community Dermatology Service on Wednesday 09th October 2024 at 14:00hrs – 15:00hrs. The Authority aims to implement a single integrated community dermatology service across Mid and South Essex. The service will be Consultant led and will provide a single point of access into all Dermatology pathways, supported by teledermatology. The service will see and treat those appropriate to be seen in the community service and ensure that any urgent suspected cancer, or urgent/red flag conditions are referred promptly into secondary care. The service will ensure that patients are seen by the right person at the right time on the correct pathway. The service will deliver face to face care across a number of community locations to enable patients to receive care closer to home. The service will prevent avoidable secondary care attendances through the use of rapid consultant triage and ability to see and treat patients who do not require acute care. The Market Engagement event will take place virtually via MS Teams on Wednesday 09th October 2024 at 14:00hrs – 15:00hrs. The event will offer an opportunity to engage with stakeholders and for prospective service providers to learn more about the service. The procurement process and timetable will also be shared. The closing date for registering attendance is Monday 07th October 2024 by 17:30hrs. These services fall within scope of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). The Authority is bound only by the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 do not apply.
