Civic Centre Fire Alarm Replacement - Client-Side PM / Multidisciplinary Consultant

Tender description

This project is to deliver the wireless element of the existing fire alarm system, and then proceed with full replacement following completion of a civic centre fire strategy document to inform that specification for a full replacement of the wired fire alarm system. The purpose of the entire project is to address the greatest risks by: • Replacing the wireless parts of the system with a modern and complaint wireless system • Installing a new compliant fire alarm system to the Guildhall • Undertaking works to upgrade the fire alarm system to an L1 standard. Provision of resource to successfully support the above work, including client-side project management role and supporting CoW (Clerk of Works) To ensure that the council has a fully compliant fire alarm system that supports the fire evacuation strategy for the building.
