Tender description

Cheshire East Council and Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (Cheshire East Place) are seeking a provider for the Paediatric Speech, Language and Communication Service for our residents of Cheshire East. Cheshire East Council are acting as the lead commissioner for this procurement. Collaborative or partnership bids would be welcomed. The contract duration is for an initial period of 5 years from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2030 with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The new contract is anticipated to go live in April 2025, after a 3-month mobilisation period. The contract value for the initial 5 year period is £11,250,000 and if the optional further 2 years extensions are exercised the full 7 year contract value would be £15,750,000. TUPE is likely to apply and TUPE information is provided within the tender pack. Cheshire East Borough Council and Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board under the lead of the Council are conducting this procurement in accordance with Regulation 11; The Competitive Process of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023(PSR Regulations) This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
