Tender description
Background: The £36m Sustainable Blue Economies (SBE) Programme aims to enhance the resilience of ODA-eligible Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and their economies to the impacts of climate change and economic shocks, including through better ocean management, poverty reduction/improved livelihoods and greater use of nature-based solutions (NbS). Requirement: Cefas require the Supplier to build and maintain a website for the Sustainable Blue Economies (SBE) programme. This is to initially include a landing page describing the SBE programme, with additional elements describing the thematic areas with examples of the kinds of work that could be developed and delivered. Also included after launch will be the process of application, how to submit and the selection process. This site will be the go-to portal for all things SBE. Its intent is to advertise the programme to potential beneficiaries along with giving them access to input their ideas along with a route to how those ideas might be processed into deliverable programmes. Cefas require an initial internal discussion on design and content with the Supplier, along with mock up designs to be shared with the FCDO customer. Once agreed, the alpha and beta stages are to be combined due to simplicity of the system required. Once tested and agreed, the 'Landing' page will be made live, before other elements are ready, in order to expedite access to this for use as an advertisement for the programme in time for upcoming key meetings and events. Further 'Specification' shall be as per the Supplier's Tender Submission attached hereto as Annex 4 and titled as 'Digital Spend Proposition Form'. Deliverables: Complete all initial build activities in the projected timescale: Start date 01/10/2024 Discovery 07/10/2024 Alpha and beta 16/10/2024 Live 25/10/2024
