Tender description

This Framework Contract will ensure availability of suitable Suppliers for the supply of goods required as\r detailed in the Specification included within the Tender Documents.\r It is anticipated the Contract will commence on 1st September 2024.\r The Framework is for an initial 24 month period with the option to extend for up to a further two, twelve month\r periods.\r A mini competition will be carried out annually between the successful Contractors which may result in re-ranking of suppliers. \r The Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements\r and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract.\r The Framework consists of the following and a maximum of 3 Contractors will be appointed.\r Where you are unable to provide a price for a product, the Authority will apply the highest price submitted from all bids submitted. Tenderers (Bidders) must price at least 90% of the Lot.\r \r Lot 1 - Timber Supplies\r \r Interested bidders must access the Tender documents for further information which are available to download\r immediately after registering your interest in this opportunity via the NEPO Portal, website https://procontract.due-north.com. Unregistered suppliers will be re-directed to the registration page.\r \r NOTE TO SUPPLIERS -\r The Authority is waiting for the final versions of the following sections of the Tender documents however, have issued the Tender to allow suppliers to be gathering relevant information to submit a response.\r These documents will be updated as soon as possible and in any event prior to the Tender deadline with the final versions. All information will be made public to interested suppliers.\r \r CONDITIONS:-\r 3. Liability within the Conditions document in the Conditions zip..\r \r SSQ -\r Question 7.3M Health & Safety (H&S) , the H&S Risk Information may need updating. Additional information: Award Criteria The full detail's of the award criteria are included in the Tender Documents Contract Duration The initial contract is for 24 months with two options to extend for up to a further 12 months each after which renewals will be undertaken in accordance with the Authority's contract Standing Orders and at the sole discretion of the Authority and in line with the Authority Requirements for the Framework. Number of Successful Tenderers The maximum number of Contractors to be awarded on the Framework = 3 (three) on the Lot Accessing Tender documents Interested Suppliers must access the Tender documents for further information, which are available to download immediately in the NEPO Portal after registering an interest via the link below. Unregistered Suppliers will be re-directed to a registration page, registration is free.
