Winter Climbing Wall (Glenmore Lodge)

Tender description

sportscotland are seeking a suitably qualified supplier to create a new winter climbing wall within a purpose-built Glenmore Lodge facility. It is anticipated that the contract will commence in December 2024, however the estimated date may change and will be agreed with the successful supplier. Full details are provided in the Invitation to Tender document. Lot 1: The aim of the project is to create a new purpose-built winter climbing wall within the illustrated facility near the existing climbing towers. This build is replacing a previous wall that needed an update to provide a facility that enhances the National Centre. The new wall will compliment Glenmore Lodge’s current winter climbing facility by providing an indoor training facility that can be used by all winter climbers attending our courses from novice to expert and including national governing body award training. We see this as a unique stand-alone facility that would offer all year-round winter climbing training opportunities.
