SPS-10967 Repair/Replacement of Roof Lights within Regimes – HMP Shotts

Tender description

The 5 existing roof lights installed within the Regimes building at HMP Shotts have been in place for over 12 years. At present, these roof lights are not wind and watertight and as a result water ingression to the internal side of the building is prevalent. A recent survey carried out in October 2023 identified various failings, noting widespread issues including failed sealant, broken double glazing, lack of proper gaskets/tape, water staining and sheared pressure plate screws. The project is to carry out the required repair/replacement to the 5 Roof Lights to ensure wind and watertight. Lot 1: The SPS has commenced this procurement process in good faith and with the intention of awarding a contract. Following publication of the Contract Notice, an Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be published by SPS and will be made available to bidders. Tender responses will then be evaluated by the SPS in accordance with the RFQ.
