North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service working for and on behalf of NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (the Relevant Authority), who undertook a competition to commission Community Based Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service for Newcastle Place under the NHS Standard Contract 2023/24. Lot 1: Community based pulmonary rehabilitation services for Newcastle place. This notice is an intention to award a contract under the Competitive Process. The lifetime value of the contract was £835,000. The contract length is 5 years (3 years plus an optional 24 month extension period, subject to satisfactory financial and contractual performance and at the discretion of the Relevant Authority), commencing 01 February 2025. This is an existing service. The successful provider is a new provider.
