Call for Tenders for the provision of a Contract of Hot Meals under the Schools Meals Scheme to Inch National School ( 18567F)

Tender description

The Board of Management of Inch National School, Killeagh is seeking proposals for the provision of a contract for the delivery of Hot Meals under the School Meals Scheme through the Department of Social Protection (DSP) and is dependent on the level of DSP funding approved for Inch National School. Inch National School intends to facilitate the availability of this service for hot meals each day of the school year for 205 students. The school calendar will be furnished to the successful company at the beginning of each school year. It is important to note that, there is no kitchen facility available for food providers. The successful tenderer must view the site in advance of submitting a tender proposal. The site visit will allow service providers to propose any works, installation and or replacement of any necessary equipment (not without prior communication with the school representative) to ensure the Hot Meals will be provided for from a start date of 5th of November 2024. Site Visits can be arranged by contacting the school via email office@inchnationalschool.ie. We would like all site visits to be concluded by 20th September 20242024 . We require an efficient setup with food well presented. Clean up after service provision is also expected. It is intended to award a contract to a single service provider. A high quality, flexible and responsive service is required combined with continuous improvement and innovation for the full school year in which the school operates. Only companies that can provide this service provision to Inch National School and in line with “Nutrition Standards for Hot School Meals” will be considered eligible for this competition. The provision is to begin on 5th November 2024 (specific date to be agreed)
