Tender description
The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform potential suppliers that an upcoming procurement exercise will be conducted by UK Ministry Of Defence (MOD) for the Provision of a Submarine Escape Tower Trainer (SETT). UK MOD is planning to begin a full, two-stage, competitive procurement process by 30th of September 2024. The SETT is a high-fidelity shore based training device used to provide Submarine Escape Rescue Abandonment and Survival (SMERAS) training at Individual, Sub-Team, and Team Training levels. The SETT is to be installed within an existing building His Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde.
