Lake Vyrnwy Peatland Restoration 2024-25

RSPB Cymru is looking to appoint a contractor, or contractors, to deliver works on the Lake Vyrnwy estate as part of an extensive ongoing programme of peatland restoration.The contractor(s) will be working to raise water tables across blanket bog by blocking drainage ditches and gullies, reprofiling exposed peat hags and building contour bunds, and repairing unsuccessful dams built in previous years.The restoration will be registered under, and completed in accordance with, the Peatland Code, a voluntary standard for peatland restoration work.This invitation to tender covers four packages of works; bidders can price for all or any of the four.
