GB-Gosport: OPA/T686 OFD Campbeltown - Inspection of Jetty Piping.

Tender description

The Oil and Pipelines Agency has determined the requirement to reinspect the pipelines on and associated with OFD Campbeltown's' Jetty. There are a total of 7 pipelines running from the shore to the Jetty head serving the Royal Navy and NATO with fuelling capabilities for ocean going ships and aircraft. Previously inspected and repaired, a total of 5 fuel pipelines require a complete examination and reassurance according to the requirements of API570 with supplementary NDE. There is also a 10" Return fuel oil pipeline and a 12" Firewater pipeline, these lines haven't previously been inspected and also require reassurance to the same standard. The current fitness for service is to be assessed by the Contractor and any pipelines with a lifespan less than 10 years shall be reported with a repair plan.
