Tender description

The Council wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of the following machinery:• 3 Axis CNC Machining Centre• PVCu Profile Machining Centre• Five Head Welding MachineThe Contract will last for 4 years (unless terminated under the terms and conditions of contract).The contract will be awarded on the following basis: • The contract will be divided into 3 lots• One supplier will be awarded for each lot Lot 1: 3 Axis CNC Machining Centre o Capable of drilling and milling operations on aluminum and composite fire frame productso The machine will have a tool magazine with a minimum of 6 locations.o The machine will have an Enclosed cabin.o Extraction of fine dust on composite materials Lot 2: PVCu Profile Machining Centre The machine centre will be capable of routing and cutting PVCu profiles up to 6 meters.The machine shall be capable of the following:Cutting Square, Mitre, V Notch, Y Notch, and ArrowheadRouting, Drainage, Spotting for friction stays, Keeps, Door hinges and Low Threshold. Trickle vents.Door locks, Letterplates, Locking security rails. Lot 3: Five Head Welding Machine Touch screen control with memory positioning.Welds corners/transoms and cruciform on all headsAutomatic corner and transom support fence positioningRetractable corner fence with quick release blocksSelf-centering transom alignment on all heads
