Primary Care GP Out of Hours Service

Tender description

This contract is for the delivery of Urgent GP Out of Hours Service for the Primacy Care services in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. The contract is for an initial term of 6 months with the option to extend for a further 6 months in 3-month increments.The Contractor must deliver the Services, as set out in the specification, on the following days and during the following times for patients in Merthyr Tydfil and CynonValley:-• Saturdays and Sundays - between the hours of 9:00-21:00; and• All bank holidays - between the hours of 09:00-21:00The Contractor must deliver the Services, as set out in the specification, on the following days and during the following times for patients in Bridgend:-• Saturdays - between the hours of 9:00-21:00; and• All bank holidays - between the hours of 09:00-21:00 andThe Contractor will be expected to deliver four face-to-face appointments per hour and to provide sufficient appointment capacity to meet this demand. Providing a minimum number of appointments of fifteen minutes duration per hour.This contract will be awarded under the Standard Alternative Provider Medical Services (Wales) Contract (March 2022).
