Lot 1: Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) requires a contract for the provision of supported Living Service. We would like to invite suppliers who may be interested in providing these services and all interested parties to attend a market engagement event, to discuss our intentions and answer any questions. Please note that costs, budgets, and specific details of the Lots will not be discussed in this market engagement. The service aims to deliver bespoke accommodation for individuals with a Learning Disability diagnosis, to provide a locally based home for two individuals who require 24hr support. The service will support core services in offering specialist support for people who require intensive case management to function as independently as possible within their own accommodation. Typically, this patient group will have complex needs which traditionally would have been delivered in more secure settings (Residential settings, Locked Rehabilitation Wards, Low Secure Units). The need for an increase in this type of provision has also been highlighted by the Regional Partnership Board and is cited in the current 10-year strategic capital plan. The plan outlines the aim to provide care closer to home for learning disability service users and create the additional capacity needed across Gwent to ensure this aim can be achieved.. The market engagement event details are as follows: Date/time: Wednesday August 21th – 3.15-4:15PM Online via MS Teams, invite to be sent on the afternoon of 20th August. To confirm interest and receive MS TEAMS invite please e-mail lurdes.magalhaes@wales.nhs.uk, by 12PM on Tuesday 20th August 2024. Please note interest is limited to two individuals per organisation.
