Halton Borough Council (HBC) is currently undertaking a Transformation Programme within a Transformation Delivery Unit to consider and review various elements across the council. As part of this programme, Adult Social Care are looking for someone with skills and experience in reviewing models of Day Service provision, daytime opportunities and Supported Living provision for Adults with Learning Disabilities. HBC has a range of provision across these areas, including in-house provision, borough-wide Independent Sector provision, as well as accessing Independent Sector out-of-borough provision. We are considering the commission of a consultant/s to review our current provision across Adults with Learning Disabilities, including in-house Day Services provision and Supported Housing Network provision, as well as the wider provision that is available to us through the independent sector. Therefore, the Council is testing the market to establish if there are consultants/organisations with suitable experience in this area of provision to conduct a comprehensive review of provision and provide a detailed options appraisal for the Council to consider.
