Provision of Liquid Fuels to the Government of Jersey

Opportunity Open to Jersey Based Companies Only - with Established/Existing Fuel Distribution Infrastructure The Government of Jersey (GOJ) uses liquid fuels in many of its properties for heating and for vehicle transport. A number of these sites are vital island assets/services ( eg Hospital /schools ) or for vehicle fuel it is used in blue light services and infrastructure support activities. GOJ secures the supply of heating and vehicle fuel via a corporate contract with a local fuel distributor(s). The requirement to purchase fuel will continue for the foreseeable future and in operating under a GOJ contract we wish to ensure continuity of supply and access value for money proposition for taxpayers. In anticipation of the publication of an Invitation to Tender (ITT) in September 2024 we are seeking at this time Express of Interest from suppliers who have an existing/established supply chain and distribution system on Jersey who may wish to respond and bid to provide supply. The intention of the EOI is also to advise and give good notice for preparation by potential bidders of the upcoming release of an Invitation of Tender which will we aim to run and conclude in Q4 2024. As part of the GOJ journey towards Carbon Neutral policy / goals 2030, with the this opportunity we are seeking to partner with a supplier who shares the same goals and will help and support us. Increasingly GOJ uses 2nd Gen Diesel within transportation and increasing heating requirements and provision of this fuel stock will form part of one of the Lots of this tender.
