Procurement of external legal services for Solar for Business

Tender description

North Hertfordshire District Council is currently delivering a pilot project called Solar for Business where the Council pays to install solar panels on the roofs of commercial units in the district and sells electricity to those businesses. The businesses in those buildings who offtake electricity from the solar panels will benefit from a discounted rate to use the electricity generated. legal support for Solar for Business is to ensure our template documents for our two legal agreements meet good practice for the sector and to provide capacity to deliver appropriate legal support for reaching legal agreements with around five businesses. This will help deliver a key step in the process for the solar for business pilot project
