Tender description

The Delivery of External Accounting and Auditing Services for a mid to large Housing Association in Glasgow Lot 1: The external audit service will provide the Association with an objective and independent assessment of the annual accounts of Govanhill HA and and its subsidiary GCDT and their financial positions after each financial year ending 31 March. It should provide a service to the whole Association including the Management Committee, the Trust Board (and Audit and Risk Sub-Committee). The external audit service is responsible for evaluating and reporting to the Management Committee, the Audit and Risk Sub-Committee and the Director in accordance with relevant professional and regulatory requirements, including the expectations of the Scottish Housing Regulator and the Scottish Charities Regulator.. The weighting awarded to the evaluation criteria will be as follows. 1. Knowledge and understanding of and experience within the Housing sector - 20% 2.Knowledge and understanding of the property construction, and the repairs and maintenance industries - 10% 3. Strength of audit team - 10% 4. Resourcing of contract - 10% 5. Approach to contract - 10% 6. Fee - 40% Total - 100%
