Open Competition for the commercial consultant on computer vision technology project

The Department of Electronic Engineering Maynooth University has an immediate requirement for a commercial consultant to provide services to a computer vision technology project. Specifically the consultant will provide: • Business Development and planning develop and understanding of the structure of the market and the partnerships and routes to market for technologies such as active step. • Working with end users to refine product market fit. Beginning with the local veterinary contact work with users to refine the model of their needs and work with the technology team to refine the offering to customers so that it delivers meaningful value. • Be the primary point of contact for field trials including user recruitment and feedback gathering. • Be the primary product owner with the software development team, representing the user’s needs in weekly software development meetings. • Sales and Marketing planning - Develop an understanding of the payment and partnership models and develop these contacts and relationships by attending international conferences in small animal veterinary market. • Financial planning and development of an investor ready business plan.
