Wakefield & District Housing Ltd (WDH) are currently engaged in a partnership with the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (WYICB), to deliver support to young families where detrimental property conditions could impact on the health and wellbeing of young children. The Healthy Homes project looks to support such families by maximising income to combat cold homes, provide one to one support around preventing damp, mould and condensation and to support customers to engage positively with other services and to advocate on their behalf, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. WDH wish to undertake an evaluation of the success/benefits of this project, with the view to using the outcomes to establish lessons learned and good practice for future projects across the region.
