EBCT 387 - Removal and reinstatement of CCTV

Tender description

The Council has a requirement to relocate its CCTV system which is currently based in Long Eaton Police Station, Midland St, Long Eaton, Nottingham NG10 1NY to Ilkeston Police Station, 11 Heanor Rd, Ilkeston DE7 8DY. The Council is seeking a suitable Contractor to: • Remove CCTV equipment from the Control Room at Long Eaton Police Station, including monitors, recording equipment and any other CCTV related items • Securely transport the equipment to Ilkeston Police Station • Install the CCTV equipment in the current control room • Carry out all civil works / street works as required • Ensure all staff are fully cleared by Derbyshire Police vetting. The council will assist with this • Ensure liaison with relevant service providers i.e. BT Redcare • Provide a quote to remove current items and reinstall • Provide a quote to remove current items and reinstall without BT Redcare on those cameras using this and identify an alternative solution The start date for the works is to be agreed but is anticipated to be within the next month. The works are due to be required within two months of the start date. To ensure the quote is fully comprehensive, the Council will be arranging site visits to be held at both sites to enable Contractors to completely understand the works required. These are scheduled to be held on Friday 23 August 2024.
